We are dedicated to preserving our underwater environment.
As scuba divers, we all have a duty to protect the ocean. What happens in the ocean affects everything. Even the smallest upset in the ecosystem can cause lasting impacts. Therefore we are committed to ongoing scientific efforts to collect data, educate, and conserve the delicate balance of nature and man.
We support our friends at Sea Shepard and promote the concept of reduce, reuse, recycle with the use of repurposed weights recovered from ghost nets pulled from the Sea of Cortez.
Ghost nets are responsible for trapping and killing millions of marine animals including sharks, rays, turtles, dolphins, and whales. After removal, the lead is melted down and recast into scuba diving weights.
Coral reefs are composed of many complex, fragile organisms linked together in symbiotic relationships. They provide a habitat for over 25% of all marine life. Coral reefs around the world are extremely vulnerable to environmental hazards.
In Indonesia, we helped restore coral reefs through the use of custom substrates designed and placed on the ocean floor. Using healthy naturally fragmented chunks of living coral, also known as “coral babies”, we facilitated their propagation and growth. Over time we were able to restore damaged areas and observe the reefs returning to a healthy ecosystem.

Fostering the lives of this fascinating marine species requires a unique set of skills.
Marine turtles face challenges throughout their lives, from hatchlings scrambling from their nesting sites to the sea to the threat of entanglement and plastic pollution. In Indonesia, we were involved in tracking and identifying different turtle species through modified facial recognition software, helping us track and monitor the these graceful creatures, providing accurate data on their movement and whereabouts.
We help species like those on the right to thrive in difficult situations.
The Gili Shark Conservation Project is an award-winning conservation and data collection program and the first of its kind in the Gili Islands in Indonesia.
Fueled by a passion for shark research, we assisted in the dedication of a unique marine protected area. Working alongside local fisherman, we provided educational opportunities to shifting their perspective on shark finning practices to the importance of ecotourism, ensuring this keystone species’ future.
