Our mission at Project AWARE is twofold: to unite divers and water enthusiasts around the globe in support of a clean and healthy ocean, and to provide them with the tools and resources needed to make a positive impact. Through our various programs and initiatives, we strive to raise awareness, promote responsible diving practices, and advocate for marine protection.
One of our key initiatives is the Dive Against Debris program. This program encourages divers to not only enjoy the beauty of the underwater realm but also actively participate in its conservation. By organizing and participating in underwater clean-up dives, divers become guardians of the ocean, removing harmful debris and contributing to the protection of marine life and habitats.
Education is another cornerstone of Project AWARE. We believe that knowledge is power, and by empowering individuals with a deeper understanding of the marine environment, we can inspire positive change. Our educational programs focus on topics such as marine conservation, sustainable diving practices, and the importance of preserving fragile ecosystems.
Through partnerships with dive centers, resorts, and passionate individuals, we are able to extend our reach and impact.
